Giving you some dirty bits to slam around in your DAW
Full mix, beat, bass, kick, percussion and FX loops tossed through some crunchy, grimy dirty processors to power your creativity.
Lo bitrate music has a certain charm that just sounds incredible when played through large sounding speakers. Reduction in all the elements, stripping down the sound to its absolute bare essentials and then throwing every audio clip through some crunchy, grimy dirty processor. This is the sound of ‘Low Bit Saturation,’ a very cool product from the Irrupt studios which goes against the idea of clean, crisp polished sound and rather gives you some dirty bits to slam around in the DAW.
We’re loving this one, as it brings back memories of forgotten DAT recordings, dusty acetate records and unlabeled cassette tapes full of incredibly creative music made on modest gear. We've taken clean ordinary loops and processed them thru various analog and virtual analog saturators, bit decimators and subtle distortion. This was done using Soundtoys Decapitator, Strymon’s Deco pedal, the UBK Fatso and the classic Empirical Labs Distressor to name a few. Inspiring musical elements that have been handed to you in their purest form, for you to twist, tweak and turn into whatever magnum opus you desire.
Upon opening ‘Low Bit Saturation,’ dive into a dream amount of professionally created loops. Full mix, beat, bass, kick, percussion and FX loops to power your creativity. Everything in a clever low bit / but high quality format. Dive in and get started.
